Fighting Unenlagias in Late Cretaceous Argentina by Kana-hebi Fighting Unenlagias in Late Cretaceous Argentina by Kana-hebi
Been working on this illustration for a bit of time and finally finished. An individual of the dromeosaur Unenlagia paynemilli (bottom right) is really upset with a pair of the larger congeneric Unenlagia comahuensis (left) which have entered its territory. In the back, a pair of Futalognkosaurus slowly walk towards the shore.

Would you happen to know of the other animals (non-dinosaurs, what have you) from this particular location?

Somehow, those bulky, rough, lizardy behemoths are closely related to those petite, fluffy, elegant psedo-birds.

Dinosaurs are so weird, but that's why they are awesome.

Quite? Put a bee humming birbird next to an argentinosaurus.

I just went at it for a long time. I am usually really fast, but this one took me quite a bit...I would stop working on it, then pick it back up, and so on... for a LONG time.

Coelurosaurs and sauropods look like they came from separate dimensions.
