Tyrannosauroid Dinosaurs Version 1 by Kana-hebi Tyrannosauroid Dinosaurs Version 1 by Kana-hebi

My first poster AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE! This is MY FAVORITE of all 3 versions I made of this plate. All Tyrannosauroid dinosaurs with enough fossil remains to be more or less confidently reconstructed. Here you can see Tyrannosauroids from the small Coelurids and bizarrely-crested Proceratosaurids to the gigantic, well-known Tyrannosaurus rex arranged in an artistic cladogram based on recent research. I am really happy with the results and i hope you all enjoy it!

I absolutely love this cladogram! Probably the most realistic and beautiful Tyrannosaurs I've ever seen. But I just noticed there's a ''Jutyrant'' on it, shouldn't it be ''Juratyrant''?

Ah I see! I wasn't sure if it maybe was a genus I never heard of before, or it was renamed or something :P

This is breathtaking!

I'm buying this version, and I know exactly where to put it. You've done such an incredible job, not just on the reconstructions but on the design of it!

(Raptorex & Gorgosaurus are my favourites, though I love 'em all)

Excellent!
Though I'm almost certain that Bisti formed a group with Terato and Lythro, as all the studies place those three together in an as-yet unnamed Southern Laramidian clade; I also thought Drypto was related to Timur, Alec, and Xiong, and not so advanced as to be a basal Alioramin. btw, which cladogram/study did you base this on?

Thank you!

Well, the position of Dryptosaurus is based on the Bayesian analysis presented by Brussate et al. (2016)... I thought it was an interesting position to have it cluster with Alioramini (see www.nature.com/articles/srep20…)

Was the Tyranno's color scheme based off the WWD one?

This is amazing and very helpful for anyone trying to learn about Tyrannosauroid evolution. I'd like to buy this print soon (payday's Thursday ;)). Btw I can't really see the design, details or names that well. Can you upload a version where you can zoom in more clearly?

Wait, so Dryptosaurus is clustered Alioramini? What is this sorcery ?!!?

Thank you! Yeah, some of the recent cladograms with most species included, surprisingly cluster Dryptosaurus with Alioramini. It doesn't cluster like that in the cladogram presented in the description of Timurlengia, but that one included less taxa than other recent ones.

Remote possibility. Is more likely future research will find it to be a basal tyrannosaurid or just outside of the tyrannosaurid family.

I can't recall seeing it as an alioraminin.
