Buitreraptor gonzalezorum by Kana-hebi Buitreraptor gonzalezorum by Kana-hebi
Buitreraptor gonzalezorum from the Cretaceous of Argentina. This dromeosaurid dinosaur was likely a wader like modern day herons and egrets.

I can just see the one in the foreground striking the water and snatching a fish with its mouth :3

Once again, truly breathtaking work. I'd wager that this is the most true-to-life depiction of a unenlagiine ever produced.

Simply stunning!!!  Again, I really love the colors!  Inspired by a Green Heron I presume?

Thank you! Yeah partly inspired by a green heron, also night herons and other birds.  As they were likely a wading species it would not be impossible that a similar coloration could have evolved independently in these maniraptorans.
